Using Application Part forms in Access 2010

Form Wizard or Quick Create can be used to create Access forms quickly, that can then be tweaked as per the user preferences. However Application Part forms, a new feature in Access 2010, supply a few buttons with the macros already incorporated – ex. a button with the form closing macro, so you will not have to create such buttons manually.

Furthermore, not all forms need to have forms bound to table data, ex. message boxes or procedure performing dialog boxes. The Application Part form Msgbox creates a small form with three command buttons – Yes, No, and Cancel. Use this form for a confirmation dialog box.

To create an ApplicationPart form, click the Application Parts button in the Templates group on the Create tab, and select the form type (there are 10) that comes closest to the format you need.
